Editorial Policy
This page explains how we research and write content on ReviewAffix, and how we keep that process separate from the fact that some pages contain affiliate links.
How we research a product
- We go through the vendor's own current product, pricing, and policy pages directly, rather than relying on secondhand descriptions or other review sites.
- Where pricing, bonuses, or guarantee terms differ across a vendor's own pages, we say so directly instead of picking whichever number looks best.
- We check guarantee and refund terms against the vendor's or payment processor's own stated policy, and note the date we last verified them, since these details can change.
- We do not accept free products, payment, or any other consideration in exchange for a favorable review, and we do not let a vendor review or approve our content before publication.
How we handle claims
We distinguish clearly between what's confirmed directly from a vendor's own pages, what's a vendor marketing claim we're attributing to them rather than presenting as our own conclusion, and anything we could not verify after checking the available sources — which we say plainly rather than gloss over.
We do not publish fabricated testimonials or invented user statistics.
How affiliate compensation works
Some links on this site are affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission if you click through and make a purchase, at no extra cost to you. Full detail is in our Affiliate Disclosure. Compensation never determines whether a claim is presented as confirmed, manufacturer-stated, or unestablished — that categorization is based only on what we found when we checked the actual sources.
Corrections
If something on this site is inaccurate or has changed (pricing, availability, or a factual claim), we want to fix it. See our Corrections Policy for how to flag an issue.
